Trust and Obey

This is a common theme in the Christian faith. Many ask, “How can I trust in something I cannot see?” I can help you with that!

John 3:8 says, “The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”

To be born again, you must receive God’s free gift of salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. It is a gift of grace, made possible through the sacrifice Jesus made for us on the cross.

In John 14:16, Jesus says, “And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that He may abide with you forever.”

Our lives are filled with the presence and direction of the Holy Spirit. We do not come to God on our own. Rather, God leads us and draws us to Himself through His Spirit.

John 6:44 tells us, “No man can come to Me unless the Father who has sent Me draws him, and I will raise him up in the last day.”

To be born again is a precious gift from God to us. Jesus paid a dear price for our lives through His shed blood on the cross. What an incredible love He has shown us!

Our daily walk should be one of trust in the God who saves us. We build our relationship with Him through His Spirit and His Word, learning to recognize His leading and respond in faith.

Seek to please God by obeying His Word.

Obedience does not mean living a life confined by a set of rules. Rather, it is an invitation to the most exciting adventure you will ever have! When we learn to trust God and follow His leading, we discover the joy of walking with Him through every season of life.

Eternity matters!

Today, ask God to quiet your heart so you can hear His voice. Ask Him to give you a heart that is willing to follow wherever He leads. Trust Him, even when you cannot see the entire picture. He knows the way, and He can be trusted.

It is a partnership of faith, a win-win for those who believe. Life may not always be easy, and the road may not always be clear, but rest assured that God is with you. He will see you through.

Enjoy this walk with Him, for it is a prelude to heaven. Enjoy the journey! Cast your cares upon the Lord, trusting Him to guide your steps.

Life spent with God is a life well spent.
